Eco Clipper AM

Autonomous Mowers

Autonomous wide-area mowing platform for turfgrass production

The Eco Clipper AM is a fully autonomous mowing platform developed for high-capacity turfgrass management on large fields. Designed for repetitive wide-area mowing, the AM combines high working speed with consistent cutting quality and predictable output.

Two wide-area mowing decks are available, with working widths of 3.09 m or 5.13 m, allowing productivity to be matched to site size and operational goals. With operating speeds of up to 16 km/h (10 mph), the Eco Clipper AM delivers high daily output while maintaining a uniform finish.

Operating Modes

The Eco Clipper AM combines autonomous operation with flexible transport and setup modes.

Autonomous mowing
Fully autonomous mowing of large areas using predefined or learned contours, requiring minimal supervision during operation.

Manual mode
Operator-guided control for tracing field edges, recording contours, navigating complex areas, and positioning the machine at the optimal starting point.

Tractor transport
Fast relocation between sites via a Category 3 three-point hitch behind a tractor.

Autonomous transport
Self-folding and unfolding for autonomous travel between fields along predefined corridors. Upon arrival, the machine deploys automatically and resumes mowing.

Power supply options

The Eco Clipper AM is fully electrically driven and can be configured with different power sources.

Diesel generator

65 kWh battery, providing up to approximately 20 hectares per charge*

*Actual mowing capacity depends on grass height and density, terrain, weather conditions, and operating speed.

Compliance & Safety

Operating a large autonomous mower at working speeds up to 16 km/h requires a proven safety architecture. In collaboration with AgriRobot and with support from RISE, we have developed a certifiable safety system for the Eco Clipper AM.

The Eco Clipper AM safety concept combines sensor fusion for obstacle detection with geofencing. These sensors are designed with individual safety levels; together they form a complete solution designed to comply with ISO 18497, ISO 13849 and ISO 25119.
